Ms. Torrance has more than twenty-five years of experience in overseeing marketing, communications and media relations programs for a diverse range of clients within financial services, re/insurance, technology, industrial/commercial and healthcare sectors, as well as not-for-profit entities. She collaborates closely with industry thought leaders through all phases of an organization’s growth, geographic expansion and product/services development. Ms. Torrance has accomplished multi-faceted media relations and re-branding programs on behalf of clients, influencing corporate stakeholders. Her insight and proven expertise offer hands-on executive counsel and implementation to establish and/or reinforce the client’s market positioning.

Ms. Torrance’s professional career spans various leadership roles with prominent marketing and public relations firms, including the launch and operational oversight of Powell Tate New York, the business/financial arm of Washington, D.C.-based Powell Tate. She also was the co-founder and principal of Middleton Torrance Marketing, a Bermuda-based consultancy advising on-island re/insurance, risk management and financial services entities. She originally established Torrance & Associates, Inc. after serving for more than five years as Vice President of Marketing for a foremost Wall Street investment firm.
Ms. Torrance holds a Master of Science degree from Boston University and is a graduate of Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA.
